FM GT-CA FAIRFIELD MACHINE PROGRAM

FM GT-C

Classic character.
Purpose-built engineering.

Fairfield Machine is developing FM GT-C, a bespoke Corvette program combining custom chassis design, modern powertrain integration, and purpose-built electrical systems.

Our initial focus is the C2 Corvette, with the program designed to accommodate other Corvette generations as development progresses. Each proposed build is approached as a complete vehicle, with its styling, engineering, and specifications shaped around an agreed build-to-suit scope.

Discuss a future build

C2 roots. Room to evolve.

FM GT-C brings a consistent engineering and craftsmanship approach to individually specified Corvette builds. Rather than tying the program to one model year, we focus on preserving the character of the selected generation while integrating the chassis, suspension, drivetrain, electrical architecture, body, and interior into a coherent design.

C2 vehicles form the starting point. Proposals involving other Corvette generations may be considered individually, subject to engineering feasibility, body and component availability, and production readiness.

For the initial C2 program, construction is planned primarily around new reproduction bodies. Suitable original donor vehicles may be considered selectively. Body sourcing and construction methods for other Corvette generations will be evaluated separately.

FM GT-C is intended for complete build-to-suit vehicles, not repairs or modification services for customer-owned cars.

Engineering priorities

Built around the details that matter.

Custom chassis

A planned in-house chassis approach, with attention to suspension geometry, component packaging, fabrication repeatability, and documented assembly. Architecture will be evaluated for each accepted vehicle platform.

Integrated powertrain

The initial C2 development direction includes an LT4 powertrain, Tremec T56 transmission, and C7-derived suspension. These are development specifications, not a universal package for every generation. Final configurations depend on engineering validation and the agreed build scope.

Purpose-built wiring

Custom harness development emphasizes organized routing, service access, appropriate circuit protection, and clear documentation rather than treating wiring as an afterthought.

Start with a conversation—not a generic package.

Define the vehicle: discuss your preferred Corvette generation and body style, intended use, design preferences, priorities, and realistic budget range.

Establish the scope: evaluate specifications, body sourcing, engineering requirements, and production readiness before making commitments. Proposals outside the initial C2 focus receive a separate feasibility assessment.

Agree the build: any future project would proceed under a written agreement defining scope, pricing, payment milestones, and scheduling.

The program is in development. Final specifications, pricing, production availability, and delivery schedules will be established for each accepted project. This website does not announce completed inventory, confirmed production slots, or guaranteed delivery dates. An inquiry does not constitute an order or reservation.

Buyer inquiries

Tell us what you want to build.

Include your preferred Corvette generation and body style, intended use, approximate budget, and desired timeframe. C2 is our initial focus; other generations may be considered subject to feasibility and development readiness. Initial discussions are exploratory; specifications and availability must be confirmed.
